Marni’s Mount Street boutique has a new installation to celebrate the launch of their exclusive bag, the Mount Trunk, and the best way to describe this pop up is FUN!
The store has two new back walls and it’s also been filled with lots of “Marni wooly Friends”, a series of art pieces in the form of birds designed by the brand´s interior architects Luz María Jaramillo.
La tienda de Mount Street de Marni tiene ahora mismo una bonita instalación para celebrar el lanzamiento de su nuevo bolso exclusivo, el Mount Trunk, y la mejor forma de describirla es DIVERTIDA!
La tienda tiene dos nuevos revestidos en dos de sus paredes y además ha sido invadida por un montón de "Marni wooly Friends", una serie de obras de arte diseñadas por diseñadores de interiores de la marca Luz María Jaramillo.
The first wall installation, at the entrance of the store, consists in a new finish and fixtures made of perforated acrylic panels with a colour gradient effect. They are just very cool and I loved how well they sit with the classic environment of this store.
The second wall is quite different, this is very graphic leather installation copying the exclusive bag´s pattern. And again, it looks very cool and it works incredibly well with the existing flooring.
La primera intervención, en la entrada de la tienda, consiste en una pared y muebles hechos de paneles acrílicos perforados con un efecto de degradé. Son simplemente muy guays y me encantó lo bien que encajan con el entorno más clásico de la tienda.
La segunda pared es muy diferente, esta es simplemente una instalación muy gráfica en cuero copiando el dibujo del exclusivo bolso. Además de ser muy bonito funciona muy bien con el diseño del suelo de la tienda.
The rest of the store just has its useful fixtures but it´s all dressed with these colourful new creatures making the space both a shop and some sort of art gallery.
Definitely worth a visit to the store (before this is all gone on the 30th of September!) and since you are there have a little stroll around Mayfair. I remembered the other day how magical it is and how little I walk around its streets.
El resto de la tienda se encuentra en su estado habitual pero está adornada con estas coloridas criaturas convirtiendo el espacio en una galería de arte además de una tienda.
La visita merece la pena (y hay que hacerla antes del 30 de septiembre, cuando todo esto se irá!) y una vez visitada la tienda se puede aprovechar para dar un paseo por el barrio de Mayfair. El otro día me di cuenta de lo mágico que es y lo poco que paseo por sus calles.
