A few weeks ago I attended a very interesting lecture about niche luxury brands in Madrid and discovered Abanuc. I was fascinated about it from the start. It is a place where you can find the most exquisite perfumes and cosmetic products, and everything about them (from the store, their displays, theirs website, etc.) shows impecable taste.
Hace unas semanas fui a una conferencia muy interesante sobre marcas nicho en el sector lujo de Madrid y descubrí Abanuc. ¡Me maravilló desde el primer momento! Abanuc es un lugar donde encontrar los perfumes y productos cosméticos mas exquisitos, y todo alrededor de ellos (la tienda, los displays, la web, etc.) muestra un gusto impecable.
The space was an old law book store and the owners decided to maintained its core as they found it. You can still see the old shelves and private reading room, which have been redecorated and enhanced with the beautiful VM elements and lighting.
I absolutely adore this combination of two very different worlds.
El espacio era un antigua librería legal y los dueños decidieron mantener su estructura principal como la encontraron. Aun se pueden ver las antiguas estanterías y sala de lectura privada, las cuales han sido redecoradas y mejoradas a través de los elementos de visual merchandising y la iluminación.
A mi personalmente me encanta esta combinación de dos mundos tan distintos.
The entrance on the other hand has been part of a redesign and it shows the main brands´ identity and concepts. I love how this acts as a surprise factor when you continue your way and discover the old part of the store.
Abanuc is definitely a must place to visit in the Salesas area, which as you can see from my previous post, it´s the new cool neighborhood and lots of interesting retail spaces are landing there.
La entrada por otra parte si que tiene un diseño nuevo mostrando la identidad de las marcas principales. Me encanta como esto ayuda a aumentar el factor sorpresa cuando uno continúa su camino por la tienda y descubre la parte antigua de la misma.
Abanuc es sin duda una visita obligada en las Salesas que, como podéis ver en mi anterior post, es el nuevo barrio de moda en Madrid y están apareciendo en él muchísimas tiendas nuevas super interesantes y bonitas.
