Salone del Mobile - Milano 2016

This year I had the great opportunity to attend Milan´s Salone del Mobile and I absolutely loved the experience. I mean... what´s not to love about being in Italy for a few day enjoying the nice weather, the delicious food and doing some research for design inspiration and great ideas?

I feel like some of the stuff we saw (like Nike´s "The Nature of Movement" installation) deserve its own post, but I wanted to give you an overview of the trip and the key elements we could check out.

MARRAKECH

A few weeks ago I went with my friend Sandra to celebrate her.. let´s call it big birthday (29+1!) to Marrakech. Truth be told I had very low expectations that were immediately exceeded. 

We enjoy the sunny weather, the food and even the endless haggling sessions in the souks (activity in which I surprisingly turned out to be very good!)

♥ Valentine´s day cards designs ♥

A few weeks ago one of my favourite websites, The Debrief, started a competition to design non-crap Valentine´s day cards. 

After waiting to the very las minute (literally an hour before the deadline...) I submitted my design and the next day I found out I was one of the three lucky winners (yay!). 

My cards are now available to download from their website which is pretty cool. And if you didn´t have time to buy a real card to go with the usual chocolates and/or flowers, you are still on time to at least sent an electronic message to your loved one. 

There´s definitely not a better way to express love than using our dearest elements of modern life: emojis! And as you can see, when using these cards you just need to hope that your other half has an emoji look-a-like... (But aren´t we all supposed to be represented there now? So that shouldn´t be a problem...)
